I can only say Mike Allen played a BIG part in prosecuting my son, Matt. Matt is the most honest, upright, caring person I have EVER known. Something Allen can NEVER come even close to. Matt was accused of (and was NOT guilty of) illegal use of a computer".

Now we have a liar, adulterer, harmer of HIS own family and a true law breaker in
Allen and he will probably never see a day in jail.

My son can't even work in his chosen profession because of Allen and you want to call me vindictive? You bet your ass I am!!!!!!!

I just listened to Lisa Allen on the Willie show (with Scott Sloan this week b/c Willie is in NYC).

She said that she learned about the affair in 2001, when Ms. Collins anonymously left an audio tape on her windshield.

She also said that mid/late summer 2002, Ms. Collins called her repeatedly on her cell phone. The story goes that Mr. Allen was with Ms. Collins at her apartment. Ms. Collins insisted that Mrs. Allen make an appearance, so the three of them could make a decision.

Mike Allen may be swine, but Ms. Collins is after the money.

That's pretty much the way I see it gae. I know the truth is usuall somewhere in the middle and Ms. Collins should have been able to resolve this issue from the time it started. I don't buy that "I felt I had to cause he's, like, my boss...ya know?" [img]graemlins/whatever.gif[/img]

It's a money grab. Plus Allen is a dirtball. But it's a money grab.

Jump, you're not here, so you probably don't know that Ms. Collins first requested $2,000,000. And then filed the lawsuit.

She's now willing to settle for a bit less than the $2,000,000.

RIGHT! For all the men here with wives/girlfriends/significant others --

If your (see above) came home and told you that she was approached by her boss. I'm sure you'd agree that it should go on for many, many years.

The whole thing stinks.

This will be a "nobody wins" situation. The whore will not get her money. The swine will lose his job. And we will be left with the tab.

If Mike Allen doesn't lose his job, I will be pissed, pissed, PISSED!

reason, Jumper & gae - Check out my very first response to the news about Allen & Collins. I said "they should both be fired". She is (like either reason or Jumper called her) a whore but I have nothing PERSONAL against her BUT I do have something personal against Allen. He is a liar and a sleezebag and I HATE HIM, even though I have never met him.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">It's part of the employee code of conduct: no sexual relations, consensual or otherwise. It is written policy, which Mr. Allen publicly admitted he violated by admitting the affair (which is curious because while he admits the affair, he claims he did not violate the stated policy of no consensual sexual relations.)

Why is this policy? To avoid charges of sexual harrassment, conflict of interest, and a whole host of other problems that can arise.

Not to mention that the prosecutor is supposed to be exerting some sense of moral authority.

I'd say this is a textbook example of why the policy is a good one, and why those who violated should be booted, stat.
